M.Bison can quite possibly be considered the main character in Street Fighter 4, as he is the head of the evil Shadaloo dynasty, and he is the one that arranged the World Warrior fighting tournament that all of the characters are taking part in. Street Fighter 4 M. Bison is a very fun character to play with, as he’s quite fast for the damage that he does (usually fast characters are weak, and strong characters (such as Zangief) are slow), and can jump really far. Note that in Japan and most other Asian countries, Street Fighter 4 M. Bison is known as Vega, and Vega is known as Bison. This is why in most Street Fighter 4 communities and forums M. Bison is known as the Dictator.
While Street Fighter 4 M. Bison has one of the best looking special moves in the game – the Psycho Crusher, the move is actually fairly poor, as it can be easily blocked and countered. There are two possible exceptions to when it is good to use it: Firstly, when you are cornered in at the edge of the screen and you need to get out. In this case I’d recommend using the EX version of the move, as it’s less likely to be countered. The second case is when you’re sure that the move will not be blocked at the end of a combo.
Another of Bison’s special moves that needs to be used conservatively is the Bison Warp. This move can teleport you to anywhere on the screen (depending on what buttons you entered) instantly. The only problem is that there’s a huge recovery time from when you’ve reappeared, and when you regain control of your character. This leaves you open to easy attacks from your opponents. For this reason, I would only recommend using the move to warp backwards, and away from your opponent. This works well for retreating, and it also builds up your EX meter.
